Scorpio Full Moon 5/1/26
All That Is Hidden Is Speaking
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.”― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring
As promised, April was intense. Astrologers were right about that. It disrupted, revealed, and unsettled. It asked for real-time navigation. Of conflict. Of truth. Of moments where something could no longer continue as it had before.
And now, as we arrive at a new month with a Full Moon in Scorpio, we’re not being asked to rush forward. We’re being asked to wrestle with the real that has been revealed.
These are not the truths that are necessarily convenient or the ones we want. In fact, what has been revealed might deeply challenge perceptions and beliefs. Scorpio is real like that. Scorpio truths exist in things like consequences and effects. How our actions create ripples of results. The nature of the result says a lot about intent. That is Scorpio uncovering, after all. We can’t transform what we can’t fully see.
The Work of Scorpio: Seeing What’s There
Because Scorpio doesn’t deal in surface-level truth. It reveals what’s underneath. What’s been buried, avoided, or left unresolved. Yes, this shadowy work can sometimes be challenging. Those places were avoided for a reason. But this isn’t just about exposing what’s wrong.
Sometimes, when we clean out the closet, we don’t just find what no longer fits. We find what we forgot we loved. Pieces of ourselves that were set aside not because they weren’t valuable, but because at the time, they were too much for the surrounding consensus. There is that too. The grit and the grace.
Scorpio’s work is not destruction for its own sake. It is reality in its fullest form.
It is the uncovering, the integration, and the wholeness that becomes possible when we are willing to see the entirety of it—light and shadow, loss and return, what stayed and what was left behind.
A key truth of Scorpio: If it is arising, you are ready.
I have disputed this phrase myself. Many times. So, I get it if your parts are too. The world right now does feel too much. And in many ways it is. Change is afoot.
This is the thing, though. Sometimes (often) we do not willingly travel outside our comfort zone into the compost of our psyche. Scorpio rules the underworld, after all. Hades. The place where something has to end so something else can begin. Not many travel there voluntarily. However, it is in that space that our most profound resiliency surfaces. Where our wisdom lives. Where change actually happens.
This is not necessarily comfortable. Not necessarily certain. But know that we are ready enough to meet it. Because Scorpio does not bring things up randomly. It reveals what is ripe for transformation.
Not everything that surfaces is meant to be kept. But everything that surfaces is meant to be seen.
Which brings us to feeling.
Because this Moon is especially tender.
Feelings don’t sit on the sidelines of Scorpio’s process. They move alongside it. They are part of the reckoning. Part of the reclamation. They carry their own form of wisdom.
So this is not the time to override what you feel. It’s a time to listen differently.
With Jupiter in Cancer forming a supportive trine to this Full Moon, the emotional field is amplified. Cancer speaks in the language of the heart. Of instinct. Of emotional truth. Of empathy. Of care.
Part of the medicine of this moment is to reconnect to these forces. Not as a form of acquiescence, but as access to a deeper kind of strength—the feminine intelligence of love, both fierce and soft.
Because what is being uncovered is not just pain. It is power.
And power, when it hasn’t been integrated, can feel overwhelming. Too big. Too complex. So it gets set aside.
Until something like this Full Moon brings it back. Not to flood you. But to return something that belongs to you.
The Sabian Symbol: An Embassy Ball
There’s another layer to this Full Moon that adds an important dimension to everything being revealed. The Sabian symbol is An Embassy Ball.
At first glance, it might seem out of place for Scorpio. Too composed. Too polished. Too refined for a sign associated with depth, intensity, and exposure. But that first glance is part of the point. Because what looks a certain way on the surface… isn’t always the full truth.
An embassy is not a neutral space. It is where different worlds meet, each carrying its own values, histories, and unspoken tensions. A place where appearances are curated, where interactions are measured, and where what is visible often only hints at what is actually happening beneath the surface.
And a ball? A setting that emphasizes presentation. Composure. Social grace. But underneath that composure is something far more complex: negotiation, power dynamics, careful observation, and unspoken awareness of what’s at stake.
This is not about avoiding truth. It is about recognizing all the ways we do.
And this is where Scorpio’s deeper gift comes in. Because Scorpio times don’t hide. Not in the ways we might prefer. It’s not just about seeing what is hidden in an obvious sense, but about perceiving what is real even when the surface tells a different story.
Because that’s the layer of Scorpio work that often goes unrecognized. It’s not just about uncovering what’s buried. It’s about discernment within complexity, especially when it involves other people, shared dynamics, and competing truths that don’t resolve into something simple or singular.
The Pressure of Truth
So the question becomes: What truths are arising for you?
Where do you wear a polite mask, maintaining composure on the surface while something else moves underneath?
What is being revealed now that you can no longer ignore?
Where is your power being held, contained, or waiting for a more honest expression?
With Pluto squaring this Full Moon, this is not subtle work. The uncovering is profound and unavoidable.
Both personally and collectively, we are in a moment that is undeniably complex, intense, layered, and full of potential. But that potential depends on something essential: the courage to see clearly.
Things are surfacing, within us and around us, that can’t be unseen. It begins with seeing. With allowing. Descending. Staying present long enough for something more honest to take shape. And that can feel like a lot. Intense. Disruptive. Even destabilizing at times. That is the point, after all.
Because underneath that intensity is something vital. You are being shown what is real so you can decide what to do with it.
That is how change occurs.
If the first part of this lunation is about seeing clearly, the second part asks something more difficult:
What do you do with what you see?
Because this is where things become less obvious.
And far more consequential.
To move into that next layer, subscribe to go deeper.
This Full Moon occurs @ 11 ° Scorpio.
