Taurus Full Moon 11/5/25
The Ground Beneath Our Becoming
Taurus, the most grounded of all signs, reminds us of the Earth on which we stand, not as a concept, but as a living, breathing reality. The soil beneath our feet, the air that fills our lungs, and the food that nourishes us are not abstractions. They are relationships. Connections. Foundations. Whenever Taurus energy is activated, the Earth asks for our attention. So, we can expect some lessons there.
But that’s not all. Taurus also calls us to examine our inner ground. The foundations within ourselves: our values, our ideals, our standards, and the ways we actually embody them. What do we truly stand on? Do our actions, or those that we follow, reflect what we claim to honor? Are we, or they, rooted in integrity, virtue, and honor?
To live in alignment means to ground our roots deeply in the truth of who we are, becoming steadfast and strong even amidst chaotic upheaval. It means standing firm in both the rightness and wrongness of our becoming, willing to face what integrity truly costs.
Yet, at this Full Moon, this grounding will be tested. We may have to go back to go forward. With Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, and Chiron all retrograde, and Mercury and Jupiter soon to join them, the cosmic tides turn inward. These retrogrades ask us to slow down, reassess, and reorient.
We say we stand for equality. We say we stand for justice. We say we stand for freedom. We say we stand for compassion. We say we stand for truth.
We will be tested.
These are not punishments, but invitations to course correct. Each test reveals where our values might live only in our words and not yet in our bones. After all, real integrity is not measured by public image or external approval, but by quiet self-honesty. It is measured by how we act when no one is watching.
Returning to the Living Edge
“On the beach, children play while shellfish grope at the edge of the water.”
This sabian symbol captures the essence of Taurus wisdom, the sacred meeting place between stability and flow, matter and mystery. The beach is a threshold between land and sea, between what is known and what is becoming. The children remind us that play and curiosity are sacred ways of belonging to the world, while the shellfish teach us that life endures through rhythm rather than rigidity.
Together, they reveal a deeper truth: stability and flow are not opposites but dance partners in the same tide. Here, the solidity of Taurus meets its natural opposite in Scorpio.
Together, they reveal a deeper truth: stability and flow are not opposites but dance partners in the same tide. Here, the steadfastness of Taurus meets its natural counterpart in Scorpio. It is depth meeting form and emotion meeting embodiment.
Taurus offers the antidote to Scorpio’s complexity and intensity. It reminds us that peace is not always easily claimed; life will continue to challenge, disrupt, and evolve us. The world is complex and uncertain. Yet within each of us lives a quiet homing beacon, a deep knowing that longs to return to steadiness. To remember that we can meet change without losing center.
Peace does not mean the storm has passed. It means we have found the calm eye within it, the still point from which true stability and strength emerge.
These images invite us back to that living edge, that fertile space where grounding and growth coexist. Because real stability isn’t about resisting change; it’s about being rooted enough to engage with it consciously. To live in right relationship with the Earth, with others, and with ourselves, we must stay sensitive to these edges, those places where certainty dissolves into discovery.
Ask yourself: What truths within me are asking to be embodied, not just believed?
The answers are likely already emerging, if we are brave enough to see them. Sometimes truth arrives disguised as disruption, or solutions masquerade as challenges. Pay attention to what shakes you. It may be revealing the very foundation that needs repair.
Rooted in Resiliency
Because Taurus is not flashy or hurried. It is rooted in the reality of the stillness of what is. This Full Moon reminds us to slow down and return to that steady rhythm. It calls us to embrace solitude and silence, to meditate, be mindful, and breathe. To watch a sunset, touch a tree, and feel the pulse of life beneath your feet.
The constancy of nature mirrors the steadfast and sacred strength of Taurus. It teaches that perseverance is sacred, even reverent. Growth unfolds through presence, patience, and faith in the process. And we need all of that we can muster right now.
Like trees with deep roots, we are asked to plant our feet firmly in the soil of our becoming. To trust our strength and our courage, to be steadfast and true, to stand tall, and to move slowly but surely toward what matters most.
In weathering the storm, we remember what is real. And that is where our becoming begins.
“Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts. There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature -- the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter.”
